New goats...

So you all are probably thinking "That poor mama goat. She is WAY over due." Ha. Not so. She had them on Thursday, May 21st. You see, she was having a few contractions later in the day and so we thought she might have them that night or the next day at the latest. We checked on her about 7ish and then my mom and dad went to a meeting together and the rest of us stayed home. We cleaned up and I think watched a movie. Anyway, I digress. When my mom and dad came home (around 9ish), my dad checked on the goats and she had had twin boys. They were all nice and cleaned up. We brought them inside, fed them and well, they have fit in pretty well. And since they were twin boys we decided to name them Jacob and Esau. Jacob had a small white mark on his head while Esau has a large white spot. That's pretty much the only way we tell them apart (beside the fact that Esau looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger. No kidding, he is a very stocky goat.)

So now we have 7 goats that we bottle feed. About a week ago Ali decided that she was going to feed 5 babies at one time. So I went out with the camera to witness this very special occasion. Isn't it impressive??!
